Are you passionate about architecture? Do you have an eye for capturing the beauty and essence of architectural wonders? If so, I have exciting news for you. As the editor of Archinerds, I am thrilled to announce that we are now accepting photo submissions from our community of architecture enthusiasts.

Architectural Photography Submissions

Since 2015, Archinerds has been a platform for showcasing the architectural masterpieces of both renowned architects and emerging talents. We believe that every architectural creation has a story to tell, and we want to provide a platform for photographers and architecture lovers to share their unique perspectives.

Submit Your Best Architecture Photos

Are you an aspiring architectural photographer or simply an architecture enthusiast with a keen eye for capturing stunning architectural details? We invite you to submit your best work to Archinerds for a chance to be featured on our social media channels and potentially in future print publications.

Embracing Architectural Diversity

While we have a particular interest in black-and-white architectural imagery and the works of renowned architects, this should not limit your submissions. We value high-quality images that provoke reflection and bring attention to themes and architectural wonders that often go unnoticed in mainstream media.

Selection Process and Criteria

It’s important to note that the submission of photos does not guarantee publication, as the selection process will consider various factors, including the quality, relevance, and diversity of the submissions. We are committed to showcasing not only the works of architectural masters but also lesser-known gems that deserve recognition.

Photography Submission Guidelines

Submitting your photos is easy. Along with the image file, we kindly request that you provide the following information for each submission:

  • Name of the photographed architecture: Please provide the name of the masterpiece featured in your photo.
  • Architect’s name(s): If known, include the name(s) of the architect(s) responsible for the project.
  • Location: Specify the city and country where the architecture is situated.
  • Year of construction: Share the year in which the architecture was built.
  • Author of the photo: Don’t forget to include your name as the photographer of the image.

Respect for Copyright and Freedom of Panorama

To ensure the protection of intellectual property and respect for copyright, we kindly ask that you ensure your photos are taken in a country where the Freedom of Panorama is guaranteed. If this freedom does not exist in the country where the photo was taken, please obtain the necessary permission to photograph the architecture.

Concession of Rights and Recognition

By submitting your photos, you grant Archinerds the right to publish them on our social media channels and potentially include them in any future print publications. We will always give credit to the author, including your name, in every post on social media.

Watermark-Free Images with Author Credit

To maintain the integrity and aesthetic quality of the photos, we kindly request that submitted images do not have watermarks. However, rest assured that your name as the author will be prominently featured in every social media post, ensuring proper recognition for your work.

He focuses his research on stereotomy, a construction technique based on stone that suffered from the 20th-century diffusion of concrete and steel. I interviewed him to understand more about this technique, which could play a central role in the sustainable development of our cities thanks to digital tools and parametric architecture.

Notes on the Synthesis of Form, Christopher Alexander

The figure of Christopher Alexander is unique in the world of architecture. With his thinking, he touches on the central aspects of any design activity and has helped define models such as object-oriented programming and Agile. His first book, Notes on the synthesis of form, is the foundation on which Alexander built his famous pattern theory. For this reason, it is a must-read for architects, designers, computational designers, programmers and project managers.
